Often a mark of quality, imported goods can fetch a high price tag and the respect of consumers, but that’s not always the case. Gallery Carre, however, hopes that it will satisfy all your demands with its “full size” erotic nude photographs. Shot by noted international photographer Didier Carre, all the pictorial works featured here exhibit the same attention to detail, refined sense of artistry, and remarkably sensual, beautiful subjects. There’s surprisingly little revealed about Gallery Carre on its tour pages, though, leaving us without any clue as to exactly what, photos aside, paying members find inside. So, why don’t we find out?

Gallery Carre’s photos are available in very impressive, highly detailed 1000, 2800, 5000, and 6000px resolutions. These zipped sets offer incredible definition and clarity.

Carre’s models are generally young, slim, and very pretty European women who contort their bodies into all kinds of erotic poses as they stare seductively into the camera lens and, by way of it, your eyes.

An accomplished and frequently published photographer, Carre isn’t content to churn out a stream of identical products. His online galleries range from straightforward full-body portraiture to high-contrast art shoots putting women in a new context.

Although they reach high resolutions in zipped packs, Gallery Carre’s images only reach 600px online and are far from adequate. There’s also no video content here, none at all.

Updates are made so slowly here it seems Carre himself averages two or three images (tops!) per day. Galleries are added only a few per month and for a site with an 11-year history, that’s unacceptable.

An unfortunately weak site design makes browsing a somewhat tricky and tedious process at Gallery Carre. The main page shows a single gallery link (and a whole lot of empty space) and the site in general seems more focused on advertising its own content.

Gallery Carre means well, but, honestly, it’s struggling. The site has been designed so poorly that it often appears to be empty, devoid of much content, as well as being difficult to browse and search well. The women, thankfully, are gorgeous and look highly erotic in these artistically accomplished shoots. Image quality is very high in the multi-resolution zip downloads – these top at a very impressive 6000px – but online viewing is limited to one tenth of their peak, only 600px, making them pretty much best ignored. Updates are slow here, too, leaving this 11-year-old site holding only 115 galleries. For an esteemed, acclaimed, accomplished, and frequently published photographer like Didier Carre, that’s hardly a fitting tribute.
