Every year, one adult studio releases its annual celebration of the most impressive and awarded performers around. Even with the recent departure of noted EA director Mimefreak, this famous studio still wants to drain you of your money, time, and vital bodily fluids, and promises wet and wild hardcore videos, intimate behind-the-scenes clips, and an update schedule that’ll never leave you hanging. But with so many stiff competitors entreating the fray recently, Elegant Angel has to once again prove itself as awesome as it claims.

Compared to the recent past, Elegant Angel has slowed down quite a bit. Nowadays only three to four DVD updates arrive each month on average and that’s clearly related to Mimefreak’s move to Archangel Video, taking much of EA’s yearly slate with him.

Much of Elegant Angel’s archive can be found on other adult video websites including Pornstar Network and Videobox, both of which feature Elegant Angel channels loaded with the latest EA titles, some seen there before they’re seen here.

Some scenes are not just available on other sites, they’ve been added to Elegant Angel’s archive more than once, too. Whether part of star-focused compilation DVDs or simply repeated uploads, these duplicates create clutter.

Although its updates have slowed and less and less of its content is available only here, Elegant Angel is still very much a worthwhile way to throw some money at quality porn. A range of continuing series and one-off DVDs delve into the dirty minds of A- and B-list pornstars, MILFs and teens alike, to uncover their lustiest ambitions. Presented in 720p HD streams and 1080p downloads, and in 1600px photo galleries (online and zipped), the glam-ish scenes best suit curvier women but most body types and sexual styles are well captured by EA’s excellent directors. It’d be great to see a busier production and update schedule in place here, as well as 1080p streams and more exclusive content, but even as-is, Elegant Angel is one of porn’s standout studio sites.
